2010 Nissan GTR GT1

Nissan has just revealed their GT1 spec R35 GT-R which is scheduled to compete in the full 2010 FIA GT1 season. Debut in the FIA and media days at the Paul Ricard circuit in France, the race spec GT-R is a joint effort by Nissan is the home of motorsport division Nismo and Essex based GT1 racers Gigawave Motorsports.The GT1 spec Nissan propelled VK56DE V8, same engine in the GT500 Nissan division of the Japanese Super GT race series. The 600 HP from the 5.6 liter engine produced must be sufficient to frame the 1250 kilogram competitive. Balancing of the GT-R is a rear mounted Ricardo six-speed transaxle. Quite possibly the most beautiful parts, and the only ones that can be used on a street car, the beautiful 18×13 inch RAYS forged racing wheels.

The team has a website where fans of Godzilla and the hamburger GTRLive.tv logo. The GT1 spec GT-R will increase competition debut at Silverstone on May 3 and compete in 3 races in 2009 before launching an all out attack on the GT1-circuit in 2010.

What does this mean for the GT-R fans? There is a strong probability of a Nissan release more powerful, more maneuvering LM version of the GT-R. A machine that could make our future GT-R Spec V look more like a Sentra.
